The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead is part of the Forum News Service, which gathers and distributes content from news organizations throughout the region.
About the Positions: This Report for America corps member will cover education, both K-12 and higher ed. The reporter will be dispatched to various meetings associated with education — such as school board meetings, task force meetings, higher education meetings, etc. — to begin learning about the issues facing the academic system as well as the people involved in making decisions on thohead will also attend other, less-formal school functions to begin connecting with parents and students affected by the decisions being made. Doing so will allow the reporter to produce content that includes multiple perspectives.
Preferred Skills: experience in education reporting would be a plus.
