The Detroit Jewish News is a 78-year-old nonprofit publication covering the Jewish population of Metro Detroit, which is about 70,000 people. Coverage focuses on local spiritual life; politics; education; business; dining; and the arts as well as the broader issues of Israel, anti semitism and Jewish culture on a national and international level. Products include a weekly glossy print magazine and a news website with daily updates. Stories are frequently syndicated by national Jewish news organizations including JTA and the Forward.
