Dallas Free Press, a nonprofit news site, launched in January 2020 to amplify voices in disinvested communities and explore solutions to our city’s systemic inequities. Its community-powered journalism focuses on three zip codes in South Dallas and West Dallas, which are predominantly Black and Latino neighborhoods.
