Nebraska Public Media is a statewide news organization with distribution across TV, radio, web and social media, combining local content with programming from PBS and NPR. Nebraska Public Media aims to connect and engage its audience, educate and amplify diverse voices.The award-winning news department produces TV and radio documentaries, public affairs discussion programs, and daily radio news stories on important state issues.

The Haitian Times

The Haitian Times was founded in 1999 as a weekly English-language paper based in Brooklyn, New York. Since 2012, it has morphed into an online-only publication broadening its audience to include Haitians from all over the world. Readers are opinion-makers and decision-makers in their communities. The Haitian Times is widely regarded as the most authoritative voice for the Haitian Diaspora.

Voice of OC

Voice of OC was established in 2009 to cover local civic news. A nonpartisan, nonprofit digital news organization, it produces fact-based news every day on the inner workings of local government and agencies. Voice of OC offers readers free coverage.

Spotlight PA

Spotlight PA launched in 2019 and is now the largest newsroom dedicated to covering the state government and statewide issues in Pennsylvania. Focusing on investigative reporting, Spotlight PA, a nonprofit, delivers public service journalism at no cost to 77 newsroom partners throughout the state—a network that reaches 35 million people per month. Its journalism is changing the status quo in Harrisburg, the state capital, and driving meaningful policy change across the fifth-largest state in the country.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is the largest newsroom in the city and has a mission to report what’s going on in the community. Its reporters uncover the truth, protect the public’s right to know, hold community leaders accountable for serving the public, and document the region’s moments, milestones and people. This news organization is owned by Cox Enterprises, a private, family owned company.

The New York Amsterdam News

The New York Amsterdam News was started in 1909 with a yearning to tell the stories of people of color in New York City, and has grown to become one of the most important Black newspapers in the country. It reported on the fight for equality during the Jim Crow era and the civil rights movement, and with a weekly paper and a robust news site, averaging 500,000 unique visitors a month, The New York Amsterdam News works to continue to magnify the issues that most deeply affect communities of color.

The Bay State Banner

The Bay State Banner is New England’s longest-running black-owned newspaper. Founded in 1965 to serve the city’s African-American population, the Banner has provided in-depth coverage of the social movements, political developments, events and ideas in the Greater Boston area’s African-American, Latino and Asian communities. Our newspaper focuses on areas including criminal justice policy, education, politics, real estate development and the arts through the lens of communities of color.

Montana Free Press

Montana Free Press (MTFP) is a 4-year-old independent, nonprofit digital news site with offices in Helena, Montana, the state capital. MTFP covers statewide news, politics and policy via text stories, data analysis and visualization, and podcasts. MTFP's mission statement is "to bring to light essential news stories by studying arcane bureaucratic processes, seeking out dark corners of major institutions, digging deep into data and documents, and holding those in power accountable to the people." We work independently and in collaboration with other news outlets statewide to produce meaningful news stories that have an impact on the lives and livelihoods of Montanans.

Technical.ly

Technical.ly is a major part of narrating economic change for the communities we serve. We’re interested in second and third tier regional economies. We've reported on each of our communities for five or more years, the longest being Philadelphia for a decade. Our reporters are trained to be deeply ingrained in the communities we serve, while also holding perspective from around other local economies. We are read by serious technologists, experienced entrepreneurs and economic development leaders who allocate resources among constituencies.

Michigan Chronicle

The Michigan Chronicle is a news, information, and events company that has covered the interests of the African American community in Southeast Michigan with special focus on the city of Detroit since 1936. Leaders and readers in metropolitan Detroit look to the Michigan Chronicle to stay informed about issues that impact their lives. The Michigan Chronicle publishes daily content via michiganchronicle.com and a weekly print edition.
