Beat: Bridging the rural and urban divide in the St. Louis region

Position:

Rural communities in Missouri and Illinois continue to face barriers to accessing information. The St. Louis region is home to a national hub for agriculture and agtech, with at least 50% of our nation's crops and livestock produced within 500 miles of the station. This reporter will tell stories to help understand how farmers and rural businesses are innovating and evolving and help bridge the gap between urban and rural.

Salary and Benefits: $50,000 - $55,000 for 2-3 years experience; $70,000 for 5+ years experience

Full-time staff is eligible for Nine PBS' comprehensive benefits package which includes health, vision and dental insurance, the opportunity to contribute to a 403(b) plan, and Life/AD&D as well as STD/LTD coverage.
Nine PBS offers a cell phone stipend of $50 per month and 12 paid holidays. Additionally, paid time off (PTO) is inclusive of personal, vacation and sick time and is accrued at 19.5 days per year (or 6 hours per bi-weekly pay period).
Nine PBS offers employees a hybrid work schedule, with required days on-site to be determined at the discretion of the supervisor. All IT resources (laptop and accessories, software, etc.) are provided by Nine PBS.

Moving Stipend: Nine PBS' standard relocation stipend is 7.5% of the candidate's salary.
