Arizona PBS, based at Arizona State University since 1961, serves over one million weekly viewers with educational children's programming, in-depth news, lifelong learning, and arts and culture. Reaching over 80% of Arizonans via translators, cable, and satellite, it ranks among the nation’s most-watched public TV stations per capita. Utilizing television, the Internet, outreach, and community initiatives, Arizona PBS is primarily funded by Arizonans, who contribute more than 60% of its annual budget.

13 News is a Gray Television station and the CBS affiliate in Tucson, Arizona. We are committed to the highest standards of excellence in our Live, Local, Late Breaking news coverage. We provide the most comprehensive and ethical local broadcasting and digital content in Southern Arizona. We produce 62 hours of live, televised newscasts per week between KOLD and our shared services partner, KMSB Fox 11. We provide streaming content on our 13+ platform.

Pinal Central

PinalCentral covers the entirety of Pinal County, which is a rapidly growing area between the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas. We focus on community journalism (like local governments) while also tackling larger regional issues (like water, housing and criminal justice).

Nogales International

The Nogales International is an award-winning newspaper founded in Nogales, Arizona, in 1925. It is published on Tuesdays and Fridays and is a division of Wick Communications Company. Wick Communications is a third-generation family-owned community media company with newspapers, websites, magazines, and specialty publications nationwide. Nogales is located on the U.S.-Mexico border. It is 60 miles south of Tucson, AZ, and 150 miles south of Phoenix, AZ. The Nogales International reports on issues affecting residents of Santa Cruz County, including Nogales, Rio Rico, Tumacacori, Tubac, Amado, Patagonia, Sonoita and Elgin. Articles about issues and activities in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, are also published.

Gabriel Sandoval

Gabriel Sandoval covers laws, policies and news emanating from the Arizona Legislature. Arizona has long been an epicenter of the immigration debate in America and has also become a crucial swing state. This reporter covers the politics of the state with a particular emphasis on Latino voters, along with the border and immigration. Before joining AP, Sandoval was a research reporter at ProPublica, contributing to local and national investigations. He also covered politics and housing issues in Brooklyn and Queens for The City, a local news nonprofit. He has taught classes on advanced research techniques at his alma mater, CUNY's Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. Born and raised in San Diego, he is fluent in Spanish.

Yana Kunichoff

Yana Kunichoff will be reporting on how Southern Arizona communities address systemic challenges in education, equity, environment, voting, and urban planning. Previously, Yana was a freelance reporter and documentary producer currently, where she most recently covered education for the Arizona Republic. Yana has also covered education for Chalkbeat Chicago, worked as a special projects editor for the Migratory Notes immigration newsletter, produced a feature-length documentary on the experience of elderly prisoners in Illinois jails, and worked as an editor at The Moscow Times. She holds a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a bachelor's in politics and sociology from Durham University.
