Tabius McCoy

Before joining The Atlanta Voice, Tabius McCoy was a visual journalism fellow at the Connecticut Mirror, where he reported on a variety of topics across the state, including politics, social justice, education, and culture. During his time at The Connecticut Mirror, he produced a written and photographic documentary on the 50-year history of Connecticut hip hop, making it one of the first publications in the nation to document and tell the history of Connecticut’s hip hop scene. McCoy's journalism journey began during his senior year at Georgia Tech, where he was a writer and photographer for The Technique and a weekend jazz radio personality for 91.1 FM WREK Atlanta, the university’s campus station. After graduating, he attended the Columbia School of Journalism, where he discovered his passion for photojournalism. In his spare time, McCoy enjoys weightlifting, running, and discovering new music to add to his Spotify playlist.

Dylan Wickman

Before joining Today's News-Herald, Wickman was a journalism student at Arizona State University pursuing his Bachelor's. During his time in university, Wickman had many different internships in the journalism industry, such as a breaking news reporter for the Arizona Republic, a photographer at Cronkite News, a marketing communications coordinator at ASU's Educational Outreach and Student Services Department and a content producer for Sport Endorse or Dublin, Ireland. He hopes to continue to be a vessel for people to tell their stories through his [position] here.

The Nogales International is an award-winning newspaper founded in Nogales, Arizona, in 1925. It is published on Tuesdays and Fridays and is a division of Wick Communications Company. Wick Communications is a third-generation family-owned community media company with newspapers, websites, magazines, and specialty publications nationwide. Nogales is located on the U.S.-Mexico border. It is 60 miles south of Tucson, AZ, and 150 miles south of Phoenix, AZ. The Nogales International reports on issues affecting residents of Santa Cruz County, including Nogales, Rio Rico, Tumacacori, Tubac, Amado, Patagonia, Sonoita and Elgin. Articles about issues and activities in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, are also published.

The Atlanta Voice

The Atlanta Voice was birthed out of the Civil Rights Movement as a trusted, authentic, fact-based, and community-driven media outlet for the Black community. The 60-year-old publication amplifies the voices of those who need it most. The Greenwood Commonwealth

The Greenwood Commonwealth was founded in 1896 by James K. Vardaman, who later became the governor of Mississippi running as a white supremacist. Although the newspaper became more moderate under subsequent ownership, it wasn't until 1973, when it was purchased by John O. Emmerich Jr., that it became the community daily newspaper it is today. The Commonwealth continues the standards Emmerich set by covering the entire community in a fair, comprehensive and aggressive manner.

The Nevada Independent

The Nevada Independent is a nonpartisan, nonprofit, statewide news and opinion website founded in 2017 by veteran political journalist and commentator Jon Ralston. Our team produces ethical, unbiased and transparent journalism focused on politics, policy, education, business and the environment.
