Boise State Public Radio

Boise State Public Radio serves two-thirds of the population of Idaho through a network of 18 transmitters and translators, primarily focused in southern Idaho. It is Idaho’s primary NPR member station, serving both metropolitan and rural areas. The organization’s mission is to stimulate, educate, inform and entertain.

WABE 90.1

WABE has been Atlanta’s independent, nonprofit source of news and local stories since 1948. As greater Atlanta’s NPR station, it reaches more than half of the state's population. Its mission is to inform, inspire, reflect and empower the community by delivering fact-based journalism, essential to democracy.

Georgia Public Broadcasting

Georgia Public Broadcasting's mission is to create high quality programs and services that educate, inform and entertain audiences. GPB TV, Radio and Digital cover all of Georgia and adjacent counties in surrounding states. Operating across all platforms, GPB News is the local host for PBS and NPR news and produces stories of regional importance from its hubs in Atlanta, Macon and Savannah. With a combined broadcast and digital audience of over 4 million, GPB News is also developing a growing presence on social media.

WCMU Public Radio

WCMU public radio went on the air in 1973 and today has eight transmitters covering more than half the state, most of it rural, and a news site. WCMU brings cultural programming and quality news to hundreds of thousands of people who do not have access otherwise. Its mission is to educate, inform, entertain and engage, and in doing so, helping to improve the quality of life for families in central and northern Michigan.

Harvest Public Media

KCUR is the flagship NPR station in Kansas City, Missouri, connecting people to ideas and to each other through news reporting, thoughtful conversations and arts and culture. The station is operated as an editorially independent community service of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, broadcasting 24 hours a day and online. KCUR also leads three public media collaborations: Harvest Public Media, the Kansas News Service and NPR's Midwest Newsroom, a four-state regional news hub.

WFDD

WFDD is North Carolina's charter NPR affiliate station, celebrating 75 years on the air. WFDD broadcasts in 32 counties across the Piedmont and High Country of North Carolina and southern Virginia. Its mission is to bring stories from all corners of the region, rural and urban.

Interlochen Public Radio/Traverse City Record-Eagle

Interlochen Public Radio, an NPR affiliate based in Interlochen, Michigan, has a mission to produce high-quality work, offer a nuanced and complete view of northern Michigan, and lead in coverage of natural resource issues. The Traverse City Record-Eagle is a news site and a daily paper with a 165-year history of serving communities in northern Michigan—a steadfast source for watchdog and enterprise journalism.

WHYY

WHYY has been greater Philadelphia's leading public media company and PBS and NPR affiliate for 65 years, serving southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware. WHYY offers a robust regional news service supported by a newsroom with over 80 people, and its reporting can also be found online.

KDLL

KDLL public radio, an NPR affiliate, serves Alaska's central Kenai Peninsula. Its mission is to provide a comprehensive source of intelligent programming that reflects the diverse viewpoints of the listening community—programming tailored for their community.

WJCT

WJCT is a community-owned public media organization serving the Jacksonville region since 1958, using television, radio, digital media and live events to engage the community. Its mission is to improve the quality of lives and the community, by being a resource for people to come together to celebrate diversity, experience lifelong learning and actively engage in matters of civic importance.
