Joaquín A. Rosado Lebrón

Joaquín A. Rosado Lebrón covers health in Puerto Rico for Metro Puerto Rico. Prior to joining Metro, he reported on air quality and toxic emissions in Puerto Rico for Centro de Periodismo Investigativo and worked as a reporter for the University of Puerto Rico’s radio station, Radio Universidad. His journalism career began by volunteering in a community-led newspaper called El Roble Río Piedras, where he contributed as an editorial designer and writer. His experience as a freelance graphic designer allowed him to collaborate with nonprofit organizations, advertising agencies and media companies. Rosado Lebrón holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Puerto Rico, where he also earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising.

Jordan Green

Jordan Green covers the rural beat for the Longview News-Journal in Longview, Texas. He interned at The Saturday Evening Post magazine in 2022, writing about Midwest culture. He interned in 2020 and 2021 at The Oklahoman in Oklahoma City, where he covered general news, breaking news and the coronavirus pandemic, among other topics. He began his journalism career as a high school sophomore in 2017 at his hometown weekly newspaper, The Blackwell (Okla.) Journal-Tribune. He graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2023, where he served as editor-in-chief of the campus paper.

Katelyn Vue

Katelyn Vue covers housing at the Sahan Journal in St. Paul. Prior to joining the Sahan Journal, she was an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, double-majoring in journalism and political science. While a student, she interned at the Star Tribune, PublicSource, American Public Media Group and Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters. She was also a student reporter and associate editor at her university's newspaper, The Minnesota Daily. Before college, Vue was a high school participant at ThreeSixty Journalism, a nonprofit program at the University of St. Thomas that teaches journalism and communication skills to diverse teenagers from all around Minnesota. Born and raised in St. Paul, Vue is Hmong American with parents from Thailand and Laos.

Kyle Williams

Kyle Williams covers sports in Chicago, Illinois, for the Chicago Sun-Times. Prior to joining the Sun-Times, Williams graduated from Northwestern University with a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism. His journalism career started the summer of his freshman year with an internship at ABC7 for the daily talk show, ""Windy City Live."" Following that internship, Williams interned at Marquee Sports Network and the News & Observer in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has covered everything from the Chicago Cubs to North Carolina women’s soccer. As an undergraduate student, he majored in journalism with a minor in anthropology and sociology.

Lillian M. Hernández Caraballo

Lillian (Lilly) Hernández Caraballo is a bilingual, multimedia journalist based in Central Florida, reporting for WMFE 90.7 in Orlando. Before joining Report for America, Caraballo was a writer, paginator and editor for the weekly periodical Hometown News and an associate producer for Spectrum News 13, a top 20 TV market. She graduated from University of Central Florida in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in journalism, a minor in writing and rhetoric and a certification in Hispanic media. At the school, Caraballo was editor-in-chief of NSM Today, the student newspaper, and interned with several news outlets, including WKMG News 6, WUCF 89.9 and the Mississippi Center for Investigative Reporting. During her time at WUCF, she collaborated to host, manage and web produce the award-winning project "The Road to Freedom Avenue: The Legacy of Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore." Her role in that project was instrumental in earning the organization a National Edward R. Murrow Award in 2022, for Excellence in Digital Reporting, among other accolades.

Lucille Lannigan

Lucille Lannigan covers rural communities in Southwest, Georgia, for the Albany Herald. She was born and mostly raised in Key West, Florida, and served as co editor-in-chief at the newspaper of the island's only high school. In 2022, Lannigan interned on CBS-affiliate 10 Tampa Bay’s digital desk, where she covered topics like Florida's changing abortion laws and mastered the art of creating digital news content. During her senior year at the University of Florida, Lannigan worked as a Pulitzer fellow, covering Florida’s phosphate industry and producing an accountability feature on Florida’s reclaimed mining lands. Lannigan wrote investigative and political content on Florida’s 2023 legislative session for WUFT's Fresh Take Florida. Her byline has appeared in the Miami Herald, Tampa Bay Times, Tallahassee Democrat, and more. Her love for journalism stems from her time at The Independent Florida Alligator, the University of Florida's independent, student-run paper. Over two years, she reported on race, equity, health and the environment and served as the metro desk editor. She graduated in 2023 with a journalism bachelor's degree from the university.

Adriana Gutierrez

Adriana Gutierrez covers education and child welfare in Santa Rosa, California for the Santa Rosa Press Democrat. Prior to joining the newsroom, Gutierrez interned at the Oregonian in Portland, Oregon. During her ten-week internship, she covered the business section of the metro paper, while also serving on the breaking news, education and weather desks. Her journalism career started when she was a member of her high school's broadcast journalism program. She transferred to print journalism during her undergraduate years at Oregon State University, where she worked her way up to being the Editor-in-Chief of the student-led newspaper, The Daily Barometer.

Madison McVan

Madison (Madi) McVan covers economic mobility for the Minnesota Reformer. Prior to joining the Reformer, she covered the agriculture industry for Investigate Midwest, with a focus on labor, regulatory and environmental issues in the meat industry. She graduated from the University of Missouri in 2020 with degrees in Journalism and Latin American Studies. On the weekends, you can find her exploring the Twin Cities' coffee shops and breweries, watching sports or hanging out with her cats.

Andrew M. Lusk

Andy Lusk is a radio reporter for KUCB 89.7 FM Public Radio in Unalaska, Alaska, where he covers a wide range of issues in the Eastern Aleutian Islands. Prior to his work with KUCB, Lusk was a financial reporter for InvestmentWires, a trade publication based in New York City. He discovered his passion for journalism in 2016 by jumping on a bus to a Raleigh polling station and interviewing voters impromptu. Lusk has been walking up to strangers and asking for their thoughts on the topic of the day ever since. He holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from New York University.

Marissa Greene

Marissa Greene covers faith and religion in Tarrant County, Texas, for the Fort Worth Report. Previously, Greene was an audience fellow for The Texas Tribune, where she wrote an explanatory article about the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and produced Instagram and Twitter posts ahead of the state’s midterm elections. Greene got her start in journalism at Austin Community College, where she spearheaded the college’s student media organization. She reported how Winter Storm Uri underscored power concerns for an Asian American community as an Austin PBS intern. Her love for local reporting led her to internships with Austin and Dallas NPR member stations. She's a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and has been the co-host and a producer of “Hi, How Are You?” a music and mental health podcast.
