WUSF is the NPR station for the Tampa Bay region; we are committed to providing accurate, honest journalism that helps the public understand the community and the world. Our journalists are independent, curious, and respectful. As a newsroom, we are committed to listening and engaging with the community to provide journalism that reflects the place we call home. This addition to the newsroom will be supported by the entire team as well as two senior editors who can guide and coach this new talent.

Walla Walla Union-Bulletin

At the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin, our mission is to provide the news and information people in southeast Washington need to make informed decisions about their health, safety and economic well-being. Our 11 journalists deliver news via unionbulletin.com, a three-day print newspaper and social media. We are part of The Seattle Times Co., which believes decisions about the U-B and local are best made by the people who live and work here in the community.

WOUB Public Media

WOUB Public Media is a NPR and PBS affiliate licensed to Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. WOUB serves 55 counties throughout Appalachian southeastern Ohio, western West Virginia and eastern Kentucky with its broadcast signals. By developing partnerships to expand news coverage, thinking outside the box and deepening the conversation, WOUB is providing diverse content to listeners and viewers across the region.

Commonwealth Beacon

CommonWealth Beacon is a nonprofit, nonpartisan source of in-depth news, analysis, and original reporting on policy, politics, and civic life in Massachusetts. Our mission is to contribute to a more inclusive and vibrant civic culture that makes our government more responsive and effective by providing rigorous coverage of important issues affecting life in Massachusetts.

The Cadillac News is a family-owned newspaper that has covered Wexford, Missaukee, Osceola and eastern Lake County for more than 150 years. The Cadillac News works to provide the community with the knowledge to make informed decisions in their daily life.

Silicon Prairie News, a division of the Nebraska Journalism Trust, is a nonprofit media organization dedicated to covering the intersection of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship in Nebraska. The outlet offers high-quality, engaging content that informs and inspires our audience, fostering a deeper understanding of the vibrant tech ecosystem in Nebraska. Silicon Prairie connects the entrepreneurial ecosystem through storytelling and events.

Cardinal News

Cardinal News is an independent, nonprofit, nonpartisan news site that serves Southwest and Southside Virginia. Our mission is to report the untold stories of Southwest and Southside Virginia, and strengthen the voices of the people in our communities who have been sidelined in the commonwealth’s political, economic and cultural conversations simply because of where they live.

South Dakota News Watch

South Dakota News Watch is an independent, nonprofit organization that tells in-depth stories explaining complex topics and use scientific polls and public forums to explore what’s on the minds of South Dakotans. Its mission is to produce investigative and public service journalism that sheds light on the issues, concerns and welfare of South Dakotans.

Cascadia Daily News

Cascadia Daily News, a three-year-old news startup, is a hyperlocal, fiercely independent digital/print publication covering Northwest Washington state from a newsroom in Bellingham, WA. CDN's 14 staffers lead the region between Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. in breaking news, enterprise and accountability journalism in a vibrant university city on the Salish Sea. Our collaborative team of seasoned and young journalists is consumer-focused and committed to mixing old traditions with new strategies to push local news forward.

The Atlanta Voice

The Atlanta Voice was birthed out of the Civil Rights Movement as a trusted, authentic, fact-based, and community-driven media outlet for the Black community. The 60-year-old publication amplifies the voices of those who need it most. We have a scrappy team of talented journalists who believe in the power of the Black Press and are committed to creating meaningful journalism. The mission is "to serve our community and give voice to the voiceless with honesty, integrity, and truth."
