The Uvalde Leader-News is a semi-weekly, locally-owned newspaper that traces its beginnings to 1879. The newspaper's primary coverage area is Uvalde County (population 27,000), which includes the city of Uvalde with 17,000 residents. Virtually all of our content, which includes extensive coverage of local governmental bodies, is produced by our five-person newsroom staff.

The Centro de Periodismo Investigativo is a nonprofit that produces in-depth investigative journalism, published in both Spanish and English, and distributes its content free of charge to readers and media outlets in Puerto Rico and abroad. The CPI has won recognition producing stories on corruption, cronyism in government, electoral campaigns, and public policy in health, education, the economy and the environment. Its work has proven to be crucial and in some instances pivotal in bringing about social change, accountability, recovery and justice.

Voice of San Diego

Voice of San Diego has been a pioneering investigative, nonprofit news organization since 2005. Our mission is to provide investigative journalism for a better San Diego. Our writers have the freedom and responsibility to tackle the biggest issues in the region. We believe San Diego is strong enough to face its most uncomfortable and intractable problems. The Chestnut Hill Local (CHL) is a 66-year-old community weekly newspaper and online news site that was named Pennsylvania’s best weekly publication in 2023 and 2024 by the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association. Though initially created to serve the residents of Chestnut Hill, the Local’s scope has expanded to serve Northwest Philadelphia. It provides relevant, consistent and important information across platforms and strategic initiatives including community engagement activities, collaborations, award-winning journalism, geographically-specific digital content, newsletters and a print newspaper.
