Since 1978, Valley Public Radio (KVPR) has built a reputation as a trusted news source. It serves over 2 million residents of California's San Joaquin Valley, providing local news, cultural and arts programming and NPR programming.

Bozeman Daily Chronicle

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle has published for more than a century, covering Gallatin County and beyond in southwestern Montana. The paper publishes six days a week, and has a robust online presence.

Victoria Advocate

The Victoria Advocate is 175 years old, and the second oldest daily paper in Texas. This family-owned community paper and news site is committed to reporting daily news, features, and hard-hitting investigations, holding officials accountable.

Concord Monitor

The Concord Monitor is a daily paper and news site that covers Concord, the New Hampshire State House and dozens of communities in the center of the state. It reports on annual town meetings in the smallest communities and the largest issues facing the state. The Monitor is consistently recognized as one of the best of its size in the New England Newspaper & Press Association awards competition.

WCMU Public Radio

WCMU public radio went on the air in 1973 and today has eight transmitters covering more than half the state, most of it rural, and a news site. WCMU brings cultural programming and quality news to hundreds of thousands of people who do not have access otherwise. Its mission is to educate, inform, entertain and engage, and in doing so, helping to improve the quality of life for families in central and northern Michigan.

Seven Days

Seven Days is a free, award-winning weekly paper with a print circulation of 35,000, the largest in Vermont, and a news site. Founded in 1995, Seven Days has been an improbable success story, thriving as traditional print media declined and filling a news void. It's been called “The New Yorker of the north” and for good reason: Seven Days delivers news with depth and context, such as a 5,000-word piece that revealed that people wait months to see specialists at the area's largest hospital. The state launched an immediate investigation in response.

ecoRI News

A nonprofit digital newsroom covering environmental and justice issues in Rhode Island, ecoRI News highlights local environmental problems and solutions, and aims to provide readers with the information they need to be better stewards of their environment. The go-to source for agency heads, policymakers, environmental nonprofits and citizens, ecoRI's signature publication, a free weekly e-newsletter, reaches 13,000 inboxes every week, and the website averages 50,000 visitors a month.

WFDD

WFDD is North Carolina's charter NPR affiliate station, celebrating 75 years on the air. WFDD broadcasts in 32 counties across the Piedmont and High Country of North Carolina and southern Virginia. Its mission is to bring stories from all corners of the region, rural and urban.

Spotlight PA

Spotlight PA launched in 2019 and is now the largest newsroom dedicated to covering the state government and statewide issues in Pennsylvania. Focusing on investigative reporting, Spotlight PA, a nonprofit, delivers public service journalism at no cost to 77 newsroom partners throughout the state—a network that reaches 35 million people per month. Its journalism is changing the status quo in Harrisburg, the state capital, and driving meaningful policy change across the fifth-largest state in the country.

Georgia Public Broadcasting

Georgia Public Broadcasting's mission is to create high quality programs and services that educate, inform and entertain audiences. GPB TV, Radio and Digital cover all of Georgia and adjacent counties in surrounding states. Operating across all platforms, GPB News is the local host for PBS and NPR news and produces stories of regional importance from its hubs in Atlanta, Macon and Savannah. With a combined broadcast and digital audience of over 4 million, GPB News is also developing a growing presence on social media.
