Investigative Post is a nonprofit investigative reporting center based in Buffalo, N.Y. It produces fact-based investigations and analyses on issues that matter to Buffalo and Western NY. Its goal is to expose injustice and malfeasance and hold those in power accountable.

Prince William Times

Located less than an hour from Washington, D.C., Piedmont Media operates two print and digital news sites serving Prince William and Fauquier counties. The organization has consistently produced award-winning journalism and is financially stable with strong philanthropic support. We are in the midst of a transformation of two traditional weekly newspapers — the Prince William Times and the Fauquier Times — to more strongly connect with readers. We are seeking to grow our coverage of diverse communities.

The Oklahoma Eagle

The Tulsa Local News Initiative (TLNI) is a nonprofit newsroom serving Tulsa with free, community-centered news. TLNI will launch a new newsroom and integrate the historic Oklahoma Eagle, transitioning it to a nonprofit, digital-first publication. This partnership expands The Eagle’s staff from one to four journalists and provides editorial and business support, ensuring the sustainability of one of the nation’s oldest Black newspapers, which has championed equity and African American advocacy for over 101 years.

Chestnut Hill Local

The Chestnut Hill Local (CHL) is a 66-year-old community weekly newspaper and online news site that was named Pennsylvania’s best weekly publication in 2023 and 2024 by the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association. Though initially created to serve the residents of Chestnut Hill, the Local’s scope has expanded to serve Northwest Philadelphia. It provides relevant, consistent and important information across platforms and strategic initiatives including community engagement activities, collaborations, award-winning journalism, geographically-specific digital content, newsletters and a print newspaper.

Kingsport Times News

The Kingsport Times News serves readers in Eastern Tennessee and Southwest Virginia with comprehensive local coverage, from breaking news to community events. Committed to journalistic integrity, it delivers the stories that matter most to its readers. As part of a family-owned group of five regional newspapers, the Times News collaborates with its sister publications to provide shared content across print and digital platforms, ensuring timely and reliable news for the communities it proudly serves.

Racine County Eye

Racine County Eye is the city's only locally owned and operated news source. Founded in 2013 to news information void, it is a hyperlocal news source with a focus on solutions-based journalism and strategic partnerships.

The Roanoke Rambler

The Roanoke Rambler is an independent, hyper-local and investigative news site. The weekly online publication’s mission is to inform the public of important issues affecting their lives, uncover societal ills, expose wrongdoing and hold the powerful accountable. Founded in 2021 and journalist-owned, The Rambler is the go-to source for local news in the Roanoke Valley about city government and politics, business, racial and social justice issues and the environment.

Chicago Sun-Times

The Chicago Sun-Times serves readers in Chicago, the six-county metro region and northwest Indiana. For years, it has been providing a voice to the voiceless by publishing the work of a diverse group of journalists. The paper has won eight Pulitzer Prizes, two George Polk Awards for investigative journalism, and numerous other national and local awards for righting wrongs and changing public policy.

Mainstreet Daily News

Mainstreet Daily News is laser-focused on local. We keep citizens informed about local news, sports and events, so they can stay safe, cast informed votes, and be a better neighbor in Gainesville and the surrounding area. We work to unify the community by reporting the facts accurately and fairly, so people can draw their own conclusions.

Rocky Mountain PBS

Rocky Mountain Public Media (Rocky Mountain PBS, KUVO JAZZ 89.3FM, and THE DROP 104.7FM) exists to strengthen the civic fabric of Colorado through public media. Statewide operations provide informative and educational content via television, radio, and digital platforms to five million Coloradans each year. The Rocky Mountain PBS newsroom aims to create a Colorado where everyone feels seen and heard. Maintaining a presence in underserved rural counties helps the Journalism Team achieve that mission.
